Mr. Kober is a Vice President at Areté Capital Partners with over eight years of experience in restructuring, financial transactions, and corporate strategy. As a seasoned professional, Mr. Kober has a wide range of financial & operational services experience, including strategic and
tactical business planning, business process improvement, cash & crisis management, among others. He has provided advisory services for companies in varying industries and across multiple roles.
Prior to joining Areté, Konrad was a Director in the Turnaround & Restructuring Services group at EY-Parthenon. During this period, he has provided advice on capital raise scenarios, special situations, strategic alternatives, and distressed liquidity situations for both corporate entities
and private equity portfolio companies.
Prior to joining EY-Parthenon’s Restructuring practice, he worked as a Manager in the Decision Modeling & Economics (DME) division of the Transaction Advisory Services group at EY, leading workstreams related to complex bottoms-up forecast-, valuation-, and transaction models for industries: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, SaaS, Payment Processing, Waste Management, and Ski Resorts.
Mr. Kober started his career – first as working student and later as consultant – in the Process Management & Operations division at PMMG Group in Munich, Germany that focused on project/program management, strategy planning, value-stream mapping, improvement &
automation of business processes, as well as risk and/-to- opportunity management. Konrad has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
