Andy Hoffman

Mr. Hoffman is a Vice President at Areté Capital Partners where he is involved in both sponsor and fiduciary activities. Andy has more than 15 years of experience working in turnaround & restructuring advisory and commercial banking. As a strategic financial leader, Andy frequently advises C-suite executives and boards of directors by synthesizing complex financial, operational, and legal information into actionable recovery plans. At Areté, he focuses on advising clients on driving performance and operational improvement. Andy successfully partners with clients, including company executive teams, private equity firms, and lenders to identify and implement value creation and strategic initiatives. He is skilled in developing and refining financial models to provide strategic financial insights that support informed decision-making, and he excels at building strong relationships with lenders and other stakeholders to deliver clear and concise financial communication.

Prior to joining Areté, Andy was a Director at RPA Advisors. While at RPA, Andy led the execution of complex turnaround and restructuring engagements for both creditor and debtor clients across diverse industries, including CPG, manufacturing, agriculture, healthcare, and higher education. His operating experience encompasses identifying core operational and financial issues, building consensus among management and creditors, and managing special projects to improve business resiliency. He is adept at delivering board-level insights and comprehensive strategies that guide executive decision-making during high-stakes situations.
