TJ Hoppen

TJ Hoppen is a Senior Associate at Areté Capital Partners where he engages in both fiduciary activities. TJ has experience working in diversified industries helping clients with mergers and acquisitions, organizational turnarounds, and debt restructuring.

Prior to joining Areté, TJ was a Manager in Richter Consulting’s US Restructuring practice wherein he advised middle market lenders & private equity sponsors on distressed assets undergoing credit amendment negotiations, refinancings, and underwritings. At Richter, TJ gained extensive expertise in the development and maintenance of 13-week cash flow forecasts, 3-statement financial modeling, and the development of Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses in industries including, but not limited to, consumer products, industrials, professional services, and B2B SaaS.
