Jim Guglielmo

Mr. Guglielmo is a Managing Director of The Areté Group based in Atlanta, Georgia. Jim brings over 25 years of experience providing financial expertise and leadership roles, mostly in advisory services, to distressed or underperforming companies. He has served as an advisor to management teams, boards, secured lenders, and equity funds. His financial advisory services have included interim management roles as a Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer as well as a senior team member on numerous Chief Restructuring Officer engagements.

Jim is a senior professional with a proven track record of identifying, managing, and implementing operational and financial solutions for companies to maximize value and foster long-term strategic improvement. He has specific expertise in the development of business plans, detailed cash flow projections, review and implementation of specific profit improvement opportunities, contingency planning efforts, and divestitures of both whole businesses and non-core assets. He also has experience in assisting companies and counsel in the resolution of financial and economic disputes in litigation proceedings and arbitrations.
