Dominick Giordano

Dominick Giordano is a Senior Software Engineer at Areté Capital Partners, where he designs and builds secure, cloud-native platforms that support the firm’s data, analytics, and technology initiatives. He brings more than six years of experience developing scalable backend systems, modernizing cloud infrastructure, and delivering reliable, production-ready solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Prior to joining Areté, Dominick served as a Lead Software Engineer at Duke Energy, where he led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on cloud adoption, identity and access modernization, and the development of high-availability backend services. In this role, he standardized infrastructure and deployment practices, improved system reliability and scalability, and mentored engineers on cloud and platform best practices.

Previously, Dominick worked as a Software Engineer at Payzer, supporting fintech platforms through the design of secure backend services and cloud infrastructure. His work emphasized automation, event-driven systems, and operational reliability in production environments.

Dominick holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and maintains certifications in cloud and infrastructure technologies. He is passionate about applying modern software engineering practices to solve complex business problems and strengthen enterprise platforms.
