Jerry Coffey

Jerry has compiled many years of experience in advisory, board, legal and senior-level executive management roles over the course of his career. Besides logging more than three decades in the energy industry, he has also advised and held board positions in commercial real estate, gaming & hospitality and consumer lending. Much of his experience has been with companies before, during and after restructuring and with those in challenged industries.

As general counsel and a member of the senior management team of a $2.5-billion power generation and gas pipeline company, Jerry oversaw the company’s legal and compliance issues, including two Chapter 11 restructuring proceedings, and served as the company’s corporate secretary during his entire tenure there. He was a member of a special committee of the board of directors of Station Casinos during its Chapter 11 proceeding and an independent manager of the Legacy Partners Realty Fund as it successfully worked with its lenders and investors.

Jerry graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.A. in political science, and Creighton University School of Law with a J.D.
