Luke Wilfong

Mr. Wilfong is an Associate at Areté Capital Partners where he is involved in both sponsor and fiduciary activities. Luke has more than four years of experience working in financial services across multiple investment and advisory roles.

Prior to joining Areté, Luke was an Associate at Intrepid Financial Partners, a boutique energy merchant bank. At Intrepid, Luke led the execution of complex sell-side engagements, supporting more than $3 billion in completed transaction value across the energy and logistics sectors, and assisted the investment team in underwriting investments across the energy value chain. He has extensive experience building detailed financial models, managing accelerated marketing and due diligence processes and coordinating across buyers, sellers and legal counsels to drive transactions to completion.

Luke holds a B.B.A. in Finance with a specialization in Alternative Asset Management from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
