Mr. Mitchell’s governance experience began over two decades ago as a fiduciary of GE’s $40 billion Pension Trust and has continued through his board committee leadership (Compensation-Chair, Business Strategy & Technology-Chair) and non-profit experiences. He is well respected in the business community, creating trust and alignment amongst disparate stakeholders. He collaborates with fellow board members, founders, private equity (PE) sponsors and senior management to achieve goals. His financial expertise and understanding of capital markets, budgeting, forecasting, P&L statements and financial operations allow him to deliver thoughtful questions and insights that drive informed decisions.
